The best bike events in Val Gardena

As an award-winning bike hotel, we are of course particularly pleased: in summer 2024, several high-calibre bike events will take place in Val Gardena. On 21 and 22 May 2024, the whole of Val Gardena will be in Giro fever: St. Christina is the stage finish of the most famous bike race in the world; the following day, the road racing bike elite will start in Selva Gardena for the 17th stage towards the Sella Pass and Val di Fassa. If you want to emulate your idols, you have the opportunity to do so at the Sellaronda Bike Day on 8 June and 7 September 2024. The cycling event for everyone is an unforgettable experience for ambitious recreational racers! If you're an MTB fan, you should book your bike holiday around 15 June 2024. That's when the HERO Südtirol Dolomites takes place. This mountain bike marathon is considered one of the toughest in the world. Special feature of this event: there is even a race for children and for gourmets!
 

Culinary and cultural highlights in Val Gardena/Gröden 2024

The Hero Gourmet on 16 June is an extraordinary opportunity to combine sporting ambition with a love of Alpine culinary delights. Cycle from hut to hut and discover Val Gardena's culinary art in a sporty way. You can find more information here. A feast for the eyes takes place on 4 August: At Val Gardena in traditional dresses, you can marvel at the region's colourful and incredibly elaborate traditional costumes. The festive parade is a tribute to the tradition and craftsmanship of our homeland. It is not for nothing that Val Gardena's traditional costume is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Also a treat: the evening Val Gardena farmers' market with local produce: every Tuesday from 25 June to 3 September.
